From Mexico: Agent of Porto winger in Italy to define final details ahead of Milan move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are trying to close a deal for Jesus Corona of Porto with his agent reportedly in Italy to discuss the operation.

Several sources have reported that the Corona pursuit is stalled negotiation, given that Milan have offered €10m but Porto want more than that, but the latest from Mexico suggests things are very much still alive.

As TUDN reports (via MilanLive), the winger’s agent Matias Bunge is in Italy to sort out the final details of the deal. An indication of the possible departure of Corona is also given by the fact that the coach Sergio Conceicao has not called him for Porto’s game against Arouca.

At the end of the game, the coach declared that the transfer market has nothing to do with his decision, which was only of a technical nature, but it does seem as though something is moving given the Mexican has a contract expiring in June 2022.

Milan will use this to try and get a better price but Porto wants to earn as much as possible because they must pay Twente 30-40% of the resale amount.
