From Serbia: Agent of Real Madrid striker due in Italy to discuss move to Milan for client – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

The agent of Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic will be in Italy on Monday to discuss a possible move to AC Milan for his client, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Mozzart Sport, it is no secret that Jović has been a target for Milan before and that his status at Real has long been in question, and with the Rossoneri now keen on recruiting a centre-forward once more it seems things have aligned.

Jovic’s agent Fali Ramadani will arrive in Milan tomorrow for negotiations with directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara over a six-month loan for the Serbian striker.

During the summer, Milan saw Jovic as the ideal profile to be the deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic and even play with him in tandem, depending on the situation, but Real changed their minds at the end of the transfer window and decided to keep him.

The player also wanted to stay and fight for his place while Milan did not have the financial means to pay a €4m net per season salary.

Now the circumstances have changed though and the Rossoneri seem ready to push for a new striker, with the report adding that Olivier Giroud (Chelsea), Odsonne Edouard (Celtic), Graziano Pele (free agent), Arkadiusz Milik (Napoli) and Gianluca Scamacca (Genoa) are some of the names on Milan’s list.

Chelsea will not let Giroud go, Celtic will not let Edouard leave for under €20m, Milik is expensive because of his salary and close to Juventus, Pele is not a convincing option, and Scamacca is still young and inexperienced.

Former CFO Zvonimir Boban wanted Jovic first, and then Paolo Maldini, with Real is ready to let Jovic leave under certain conditions, but to keep control over his future. Milan are ready to accept a loan without an option to buy.
