Luka Modric is destined to leave Real Madrid in the summer, a report claims, with AC Milan one of the clubs interested in signing him.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Modric is set to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season, with Los Blancos ready to embrace Dani Ceballos, Takefusa Kubo, Martin Odegaard and Donny van de Beek as their long-term options.
For this reason, the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner is looking around for possible options regarding his next club, with AC Milan and Inter ‘dreaming’ of signing him.
The Rossoneri were heavily linked with Modric last summer, but it was even claimed after the window shut that Milan’s pursuit of the Croatia international is far from over.
Calciomercato.com reported that the 34-year-old knows he will leave the Bernabeu by June at the latest and as such is thinking ahead to possible destinations, with his first choice being Milan – a club which he supported growing up.
