From Spain: Bad news for Milan as Man Utd consider cutting full-back’s loan deal short

By Oliver Fisher -

Manchester United want to recall full-back Diogo Dalot early from his loan spell at AC Milan, according to the latest from Spain.

Dalot joined Milan on a season-long dry loan in the summer transfer window and so far has seen his starts restricted to the Europa League due to the impressive performances of Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez.

Despite this, Dalot came out earlier today and said that he is happy to be at Milan and that his start to life at the club has been ‘amazing’, while speculation from a number of sources is suggesting that Milan may look to make his move a permanent one.

According to Spanish outlet TF, United are looking for a defender that will give competition to Aaron Wan-Bissaka and is good going forward, which is why they could try and bring back Dalot.

They add that the English club are considering cancelling the loan deal, and that the Rossoneri would not provide too many impediments to his Old Trafford return given his lack of playing time so far.
