From Spain: Castillejo close to joining Getafe on loan with obligation to buy deal

By Oliver Fisher -

Samu Castillejo may yet leave AC Milan after all as a report in Spain has claimed that he is close to joining LaLiga side Getafe.

Castillejo is one of the players that has been repeatedly linked with a Milan exit. Although the concrete interest has been scarce, the Rossoneri could soon receive an offer given that there are teams in Spain who continue to be touted as potential destinations.

MilanNews recently reported that Getafe could launch a new attempt for Castillejo as they are close to selling Marc Cucurella to Brighton for a fee of around €18m, which could help fund the attempt. Milan are willing to accept an offer of €8m for their No.7, given that they have Alexis Saelemaekers and Alessandro Florenzi as well.

According to Radio Estadio of Onda Cera (via MilanEye), Castillejo is in fact close to joining Getafe. The winger would arrive on an initial loan with an obligation to buy that would be activated next year.
