From Spain: €30m asking price set for unwanted Real Madrid man as Milan monitor

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are at the window as Real Madrid have set an asking price for midfielder Dani Ceballos, according to a report from Spain.

According to the Spanish portal Bernabeu Digital (via MilanNews), Ceballos is on the market because he is not in the Real Madrid project. Los Blancos have even set the price to let him go, which is €30m given the fact he is still under contract until 2023.

The 24-year-old would gladly stay and fight for a spot now Carlo Ancelotti has returned as the head coach, but Real Madrid have different intentions and want to monetise from his sale. Milan have not yet submitted an offer but are waiting for developments.

Relations with Real Madrid are excellent and this could facilitate negotiations, as seen with the previous negotiations involving Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz, so it is certainly a situation worth keeping a close eye on.
