AC Milan are one of the teams who are keen on a move for Marseille defender Boubacar Kamara, according to a report from Spain.
MilanNews are reporting that Matteo Gabbia has sustained an injury to the collateral ligaments of his left knee and that he likely won’t feature for over a month. With Simon Kjaer also injured and with Mateo Musacchio and Leo Duarte out of the plans, the management are likely to push for the signing of a new defender in the January window.
According to Mundo Deportivo (via TransferZone), Milan are one of three sides interested in signing the 21-year-old Marseille defender Boubacar Kamara.
The Frenchman has been valued at €60m by the Ligue 1 side, with Bayern Munich and Barcelona the other two teams that the Spanish outlet claims are in the running.
Kamara is a versatile player as he can play defensive midfield as well as centre-back, meaning he could even become a fourth-choice holding midfielder two, addressing two needs.
