From Spain: Milan, Barcelona and PSG hover as Depay is available for €5m – the player’s stance

More news has emerged suggesting that AC Milan could land reported target Memphis Depay by paying Lyon a small fee this January.

The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with a move for the Dutchman over the past few days and weeks, as he appears to be one of the big opportunities of the January market.

His contract expires in June, and Sky Italia reported on Friday how his name could be back in fashion for Milan and other top European clubs as early as this January, given that the agreement for the renewal of his contract with Lyon is still missing.

As Spanish source AS reports, Depay is currently free to negotiate with other clubs and he would be allowed to leave if an offer of €5million arrived in the current market, even if the main objective of Lyon is to keep him until the end of the season.

Lyon plan to convince the forward by asking him to fight for the Ligue 1 title, something which the club has been missing for a while, so Memphis could stay to try to say goodbye to his club in a big way.

Barcelona, PSG and Juventus are interested in acquiring his services, the report adds, but the player remains to be convinced.
