From Spain: Milan expressed interest in three Real Madrid players and are eyeing free transfer

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan were interested in signing three different Real Madrid players in addition to Brahim Diaz over the summer, a report has claimed.

Real Madrid source Defensa Central takes a look at the future of Isco, Luka Jovic and Dani Ceballos, remarking that all three interested Milan to a greater or lesser extent, but the Rossoneri only ended up concluding an operation with Los Blancos for Brahim Diaz.

Real were willing to sell the aforementioned trio as they look to move forward in a new era with returning manager Carlo Ancelotti, and while Milan expressed interest in Isco, Jovic and Ceballos, none of the three operations came to fruition.

The one that Milan most wanted at San Siro was Isco Alarcón, but the high costs made an agreement impossible. However, the source speculates that next summer might be the right time to land the playmaker, as he will be out of contract and therefore could arrive on a free transfer.

  1. Milan gets linked to many players but never make the deal…why did we allow Lazio to get Zaccgni at 10M….he should have been ours…now watch Hauge shine after you sold him for just 12M.

    1. Exactly. If we’d just kept HAUGE all of our problems would have been solved at striker, RW, CM and RB. Pioli, Maldini, Massara and ELIOT all out.🤪
