From Spain: Milan in line to secure signing of centre-back on free transfer – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are the team most likely to land Brescia defender Andrea Cistana on a free transfer, according to a report from Spain.

Seriebnews claimed earlier in the week that Milan and Brescia have finalised the transfer of yet another young jewel, as the 23-year-old centre-back will make his move to the Rossoneri official in January, but the defender should remain with La Leonesa until the end of the season.

PianetaMilan then reported however that there is absolutely no deal at present between Brescia and Milan for Cistana, but BresciaOggi (via MN) believe that Cistana is indeed a player that the Rossoneri are following closely.

According to the latest from Spanish outlet TF, Milan have maintained contacts with Cistana’s agent and with his contract set to expire in June 2021, Milan are looking to snap him up on a free transfer.

The player has not been able to showcase his talents recently because of a knee injury but before that his stock was very high, with the defender even being called up to the senior Italy squad by Roberto Mancini in November 2019
