AC Milan are interested in signing defender Takehiro Tomiyasu from Bologna and are set to present a new offer, according to a report from Spain.
It is no secret that the management wanted to try to make a new central defender available to Stefano Pioli during the summer window, and the name that was mentioned quite extensively was Tomiyasu.
The Japan international is admired for his flexibility as he can play both centre-back and right-back without problems, but in the end they couldn’t get a deal over the line.
According to Spanish outlet TodoFichajes though, Milan are not giving up on their hopes of signing the 21-year-old and are in fact ready to present a new offer to the Rossoblu.
The offer is as follows: €15million in cash plus Mateo Musacchio, who will return from a long-term injury by the end of this month and could be a very useful player for a side like Bologna.
