AC Milan are evaluating potential solutions to complete the full-back department and have identified Atletico Madrid’s Sime Vrsaljko as an option.
According to Fichajes, the Rossoneri management are already thinking about how to strengthen the team for next season and believe that the right-back position is one where they could make improvements.
Diogo Dalot is currently on loan from Manchester United, but the lack of a natural replacement for Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the Red Devils’ side makes his return to Old Trafford almost a certainty as per the report.
Milan have set their eyes on LaLiga, more specifically Atlético de Madrid, where Sime Vrsajko is having a good campaign despite his knee problems. Milan are considering an offer for the Croatia international worth €10m.
Vrsaljko is already familiar with Serie A having worn the shirt of Inter three seasons ago when he was loaned out by Atletico, and he has also played for Genoa and Sassoulo. The player’s decision will depend on the confidence that Simeone shows him until the end of the season in these crucial months in which titles are decided.
