From Spain: Milan winger already has verbal agreement to join LaLiga side in January

By Oliver Fisher -

Samu Castillejo’s time at AC Milan should come to an end in the January transfer window if all goes to plan, according to a report.

According to Diario AS in Spain (via MilanNews), it seemed as though Castillejo was on his way out of Milan when there was only one day left in the summer market and it looked as though Getafe were going to land him, but the winger remained at Milan in the end.

According to the same source, the former Villarreal man has the desire to leave as soon as possible, and that is why he has already given his word to Getafe. He will be the Madrid-based club’s first winter reinforcement despite the likes of Real Sociedad, Levante and Elche all taking an interest.

Castillejo has been almost completely frozen out since his summer move collapsed, appearing just once right at the end of a Serie A game.

  1. Even if we admire his hard-working attitude, but I think Casti must move to another clubs that need him more for a win-win solution…
