From Spain: Real Madrid consider keeping playmaker to cover exits – Milan and the player’s stance

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is set to bet on Brahim Diaz after his loan at AC Milan is completed, a report claims.

According to Spanish source DefensaCentral (via MilanLive), Real Madrid are indeed thinking of bringing Brahim Diaz back from Milan once his loan is done as Zidane intends to bet on the player.

Brahim arrived on a season-long dry loan from Los Blancos but there was no option or obligation to buy inserted into the deal, meaning Real are well within their rights to include him in their plans for next season.

The report adds that the the Rossoneri management would like to renew the agreement for another years, perhaps inserting an option to make it permanent, but now it all depends on the Spanish club, who are no longer convinced of letting him leave again.

Although the player loves both Milan and Real Madrid, it is clear that playing minutes is the key. With Isco, Jovic and Mariano Diaz set to leave, he could find more game time back at base. There will be dialogue between the two sides in January.
