From Spain: Real Madrid have two Milan centre-backs on list of potential targets

By Oliver Fisher -

Real Madrid have two AC Milan defenders on their wish list ahead of the next summer transfer window, a report from Spain has claimed.

According to Defensa Central, Florentino Pérez is looking to inject some quality into the Real Madrid squad and in particular the defensive department, and he has his eye on a few different upcoming free agents who could be cost-effective additions.

The names of Antonio Rüdiger (Chelsea) and Niklas Süle (Bayer Munich) stand out but there are other candidates too such as Andrea Christensen, Mattias Ginter, Jason Denayer, Mbemba and Zagadou.

Interestingly, the report also mentions two Milan defenders whose deal expires at the end of the season in Alessio Romagnoli and Simon Kjaer. Neither have yet penned fresh terms and while for the latter there is optimism he will, the former seems more likely to leave than stay at the moment.
