From Spain: Real Madrid not worried about playmaker’s explosion at Milan due to €27m clause

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan might not be able to keep hold of Brahim Diaz beyond the end of his loan spell as Real Madrid seem keen on bringing him back, a report claims.

DiarioGol reports that Real Madrid are keeping track of the status of their players out on loan and they are aware that Brahim Diaz is impressing with the Rossoneri, having amassed four goals already this season of which three were game-winners.

Although the 22-year-old is on loan until 2023, the Rossoneri management already know that they want to pay the €22m option to buy that they agreed with Madrid before the end of his loan.

Florentino Pérez though managed to insert a buyback option for Brahim in case he exploded, just as has happened. He copied the same formula used when loaning out Dani Carvajal and with Álvaro Morata, and would have to pay €27m to buy Brahim back, which at the moment seems a concrete possibility.

  1. This is stupid contract management. How you sign for €27m buyback, for such young and talented player, he is at least worth €45m now, thanks to Milan.
