From Spain: Real Madrid playmaker expected to join Milan for €3-4m in January

By Oliver Fisher -

One Spanish source remains insistent that AC Milan will complete the signing of attacking midfielder Isco from Real Madrid in January.

According to TDFichajes, Isco will pack his bags during the winter window as he is not a part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans despite the fact he has made 9 appearances across LaLiga and the Champions League this season. Everton and Sevilla had also shown interest in playmaker but he has finally chosen to join the Rossoneri.

Milan have been probing this operation for some time and there was a chance it could have been done during the recent summer window, but it did not go through. Isco has already said yes to joining Milan where he will find former team-mates Brahim Diaz and Theo Hernandez – and now the only thing left to do is finalise an agreement with Real Madrid.

Los Blancos are not likely to ask for much given his deal expires in 6 months and everything indicates that the operation will be closed in exchange for a small sum of money, around €3-4m.

  1. Good news if true, we need high quality attacking midfielder depth. I just hope that he will stay injury free and not have a sky high wage bill :Þ

    1. Isco is an AMF, and could be in the starting 11 when he attains league fitness. With Isco, our attacking midfield is complete.

I just hope they stay injury free
