From Spain: Schalke star pushing for Milan move despite Liverpool and Man Utd interest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made Schalke defender Ozan Kabak their number one target for the winter window but they face competition from England, a report claims.

Numerous sources have reported that the Rossoneri management are ready to go back in for Kabak having failed to sign him during the summer mercato.

According to TF, Milan believe he is still the right reinforcement for the defence, but the problem is that Manchester United and Liverpool have also probed the ground for the 20-year-old Turkey international.

Despite this, the report goes on to claim that the player would prefer a move to Milan, and while Schalke initially wanted €25m from his sale they will now accept €15m given their current economic crisis.

The Bundesliga club rejected a €15m bid from Milan over the summer but with the addition of €5m in bonuses – therefore a potential total of €20m – they would be forced to accept this time around.
