From Spain: Sevilla looking to tie up €8m deal for Milan winger – player has said yes to move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan winger Samu Castillejo is closing in on a summer exit having said yes to a destination in his native Spain, a report claims.

According to the latest from TDFichajes in Spain, Sevilla are looking for a reinforcement for the right wing department and Samu Castillejo has been chosen by sporting director Monchi, who wants the former Villarreal man for the squad next season.

The deal would be facilitated by the fact the player would cost just €8million as he is no longer part of the project at Milan after a season of inconsistent form. The winger meanwhile has said yes to the idea of a return to Spain, and Sevilla is a fairly welcome destination.

Milan have already done business with the Andalusian club too which helps, selling Suso to them last year. With 1 goal and 1 assist in the current league season, Samu wants more time to show off his ability.

  1. Only 8 millions?! Do you know how he cost us? Back when we traded him for Bacca?! 20+ million! And all we get is about a third of what we invested in him?!
I mean, I know we need to sell him, take him off the pay roll and make a new spot for a fresh winger, but, couldn’t we get at least a bit more?!

  2. What Sevilla wants is impossible. For 8 mil. can search in Serie C there are those players available. Castillejo is now the second price with Milan entering the Champions League, about 17mil, or 20mil.
