From Spain: Striker destined to leave Real Madrid as Milan register interest

AC Milan have been named by numerous sources as being one of the clubs in the race to sign Luka Jovic from Real Madrid on a potential loan deal.

Marca report that Real Madrid are looking at potentially letting nine players leave this summer, and Jovic appears to be the player whose departure from Real Madrid is the most concrete.

The Serbia international already knows that he is not a big part of the plans and as such he is looking for his next club. Milan are one of the teams monitoring his situation and could offer him a chance to get his career back on track.

According to AS (via MilanNews), the 24-year-old striker is not part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans having scored only one goal in 2021-22. He is also of interest to Getafe, with Milan mentioned as being keen too, but the salary that he receives is currently an obstacle.
