Massimiliano Allegri will soon be announced as the new head coach of AC Milan, and this morning’s newspapers are dominated by the story.
It was announced by Milan on Thursday night that Sergio Conceicao has departed the club after five months in charge, and that came hours after Allegri was spotted at Casa Milan, having reportedly put pen to paper on a two-year deal (with option for a third).

Allegri to Milan: Italian media react
It is of course a return to the Rossoneri for Allegri, who was at the club from 2010 to 2014. In that three and a half year spell he won the Scudetto in 2010-11 then the Supercoppa Italiana in the same year.
La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Two yeses. Allegri returns to Milan, Conte stays at Napoli. Max gets a 2-year contract, which could become 4 in the event of a Scudetto.”
Corriere dello Sport: “All done. Allegri returns to Milan. Max at Milanello after eleven years: two-year contract plus two options.”
Tuttosport: “Allegri: Milan, I’ll get you back on your feet. Max signs a two-year deal: he returns to the Rossoneri after 11 years. We start again with Leao. Magnanelli is also on the staff, arriving from Juve. The pact with Ibra. City want Reijnders already at the Club World Cup: Milan is asking for €75m.”
QS: “Milan at Max, Allegri coup. The coach back after 11 years, and Conte remains at Napoli.”

Great, I died and I’m in hell…
