GdS: Fulham ‘secretly studying’ possibility of Chukwueze move – the details

One of the players who could leave AC Milan this summer is Samuel Chukwueze, who has not established a place in the team since joining.

When Milan signed Chukwueze, there was a lot of hope. A dynamic winger who was shining regularly in the Spanish top flight and in Europe under Unai Emery. However, Christian Pulisic also arrived in the same summer. We know how that ended.

Of course, there have been glimpses of his ability. But, it seems increasingly likely that the Nigerian’s future lies away from the Rossoneri colours. Instead, a move to England could be possible, and interest is present.

Heading to England?

Per reports from Gazzetta dello Sport, the forward is being linked to Premier League outfits, with the Diavolo deeming him as ‘surplus’. It is no secret that the new regime wants a smaller squad and Chukwueze could be one of the sacrifices.

As MilanNews relayed from that report, Fulham are looking at the winger ‘secretly’ and are trying to see if there are any possibilities of a move to England. There have been previous links to a London move before, and it seems that the interest has never faded. It could certainly be explored.

  1. Chuk scored eight goals and provided six assists in 69 matches across all competitions with Milan.

Yet many will argue he needs more time to prove himself.

    1. You forgot to write that he played only 2667 minutes across those 69 matches. Thats one season worth of minutes. 8 goals and 6 assists in 2667 minutes for a back up winger who isn’t used regularly doesn’t look that bad when you tell the whole story.

      1. For once, someone with sense. You also need to consider that when a player comes on for 15 minutes you can’t really expect a miracle everytime. That being said as much as I believe there is still potential for chuk (and okafor) if we get a good offer for them, I think it would be smart to sell. Especially if we get a new RB (would mean that both jimenez and saleamakers could be used in that role like they have in the past)

    2. My favourite is when someone states number of games and G+A without minutes. It happened all the time with Jovic. Is that not common sense?

  2. So secret that they probably won’t even tell Milan that they’ve bid or tell any journalists about it or tell the player……

      1. I wonder if he will go left and try to shoot?? The times he actuslly did something else he was pretty good. But most of the time he dribbled and lost it or dribbled and shot into a block…
