Ahead of Sunday’s game against Cremonese, AC Milan have returned to training today, and one visitor in particular has been noticed.
After the disappointment at the weekend, Milan have had a few days off to recuperate, and they will now begin to prepare for the next game on the fixture list, which sees them face Cremonese.
Of course, it is a chance to get revenge after the first game of the season, but with the loss to Parma, it is fair to say that the atmosphere around the Rossoneri currently is very flat.
Training resumes
Today, then, as MilanNews reports, recovery began at Milanello, with Massimiliano Allegri still hoping to get the Diavolo into the Champions League, as a bare minimum. With the mood low, too, the CEO Giorgio Furlani tried to boost spirits.
As the report states, he was present to watch, whilst also expressing his (and the management’s) closeness to the team, reinforcing that they need to finish in the right way, and not make less of what has been a strong season so far.

On paper, the Cremonese game would be perfect to try and bounce back with. Instead, it almost feels like a game where the fears of this season and what could have been may be further cemented.
