Giorgio Furlani has spoken after the defeat to Bologna in the Coppa Italia final, and he has admitted that AC Milan have failed this season.
With the pressure riding on this game, there was always a fear that Milan were potentially digging their own hole – something which they have done throughout the season. disapointment isn’t a lie its an understatement and even with a Coppa win it pretty much would be the same.
As a long time Milan fan for me winning either the Super Coppa or the Coppa Italia or even both would be the icing of the cake if we had won the Scudetto or the CL final. It would have been an ok season if we won em on top of a CL qualification but there simply is no way to sugar coat this season or how this club has been run in recent years considering a few years ago most of us looked at the future with bright eyes but now egos and owners completely ruined that.
hope this failed season teach this guy to stay away from the technical area.
Our season was already over when we connected with Lopetegui and Fonseca when names like Conte, Sarri, De Zerbi are available.

Most of saw this was coming before start the season. A club of Milan status have never going for a coach (Lopetegui, not that i was fan of him) but then chickens out when the fans are reacting. Then appoint another coach a couple of weeks before season, just for the cost operation. With this incompetence of a management, i will be be surprised if we’re ever going to reach the top

Its not totally impossible for Milan to finish 5th and grabb the EL spot anyway. Key is for Inter to beat Lazio in the scudetto race and Lecce to steal 1-3 point from Lazio to avoid relegations.
We beat Roma and Monza and finish on 66 points with plus in intermutual games vs Roma and Bologna.
Bologna finish on 66 points after drawing Fiorentina and beating Genoa. Bologna have + vs Roma in intermutual games.
Roma finish on 66 points after losing to Milan and beating Torino.
Lazio finish on 65 points after losing to Inter and drawing Lecce.

Diseppointed but not suprised. In the end we got what we deserved which is nothing. The people at the top better listen or zip it. You went against every advice and fired every person at the club who where passonete and knowlegable.

Milan still qualify European football next season if bologna in the final league position at 5-6th. So Milan can go to conference league qualification from copa Italia finalist
