Igli Tare’s first priorities are becoming clearer as time passes, and the new AC Milan sporting director has made some new considerations.

Despite only arriving at the club officially last night, Tare has certainly been busy already, and more is coming to light about his plans for Milan. We know that two sets of meetings have already taken place, involving those at Milanello and away. However, day two seems to be focused on the current squad.
As La Repubblica (via Milan Press) write, the plans for the future are clear in the former Lazio man’s mind, and there are already two ‘pillars’ within the squad to build around moving forwards.
It starts at the back, and this is because Strahinja Pavlovic, who was identified as a star by Tare at Lazio, and Matteo Gabbia are regarded as players to build around moving forward. Especially with the defence needing solidity and consistency.
Both players have displayed a lot of what the Rossoneri need in players, showing spirit and fight, even if they have made mistakes this season. Moving forward, the Albanian then believes in the futures of Youssouf Fofana and Santiago Gimenez, whose times, at least so far, have been difficult. Like the defenders, though, they are still young enough to build the future around.
Interestingly, the new sporting director seemingly is interested in the possibility of exercising the renewal option in Luka Jovic’s deal.
