After the links during the summer transfer window, Galatasaray are reportedly keen on trying again for AC Milan centre-back Strahinja Pavlovic.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have published a report that looks at the futures of Yann Bisseck and Pavlovic, who now seem to be established starters for Inter and Milan respectively. Yet the wave of recent success isn’t enough to dispel doubts about their future in the city.

The German defender seemed destined to leave in the summer on the cusp of turning 25 while the Serbian too had plenty of buzz surrounding his departure, with it being considered inevitable at one point.
Pavlovic still in demand
The report states that Galatasaray’s tireless representatives have made contact to gauge Pavlovic’s availability, having tried in the summer too. Such attempts risk being in vain, considering Massimiliano Allegri has restored his faith in the man who arrived in 2024 from RB Salzburg for €18m.
He’s performing well in the three-man defence, growing game by game and even adding goals, like the winner against Roma on Sunday. In fact, that outing against the Giallorossi might just have been his best in a Milan shirt, so everything is going well for him in short.
In Allegri’s eyes, Pavlovic can grow even more to become a top defender in every sense. So, the notion of Galatasaray prising him away in the middle of a season where Milan could fight for the title seems incredibly remote. They are ‘only willing to consider offers exceeding €20m’, the paper concludes.
Offers exceeding $20 mil? Oh no, we can kiss Pavlovic goodbye lol. The fact that they would even consider offers is unreal right now.

100%. Pavlo’s contract expires in June 2028 and Milan has a 1-year option at the end, so time is on their side. He’s only going to get better (he’s 24) which means his value is only going to increase. Guessing he’ll fetch $40M+ in 2027 assuming his trajectory continues. Playing time has clearly helped.
He is a very unique player, who haven’t reached his prime yet. Unsellable in my eyes.

Hes still very raw, can be a bit clumsy. But of course we wouldn’t consider selling him thats ridiculous.
1) He has grinta… his attitude is to try hard, gives 100% effort
2) hes the only natural LCB which we badly need in 352
3) we don’t exactly have a lot of CBs in the squad anyway! We need to buy not sell
4) too much chopping and changing of a squad isnt good. We should add a few targeted players and chop the dead wood, not a revolution every window
All things considered, with his long term contract and desire to stay at Milan. He must be at least a 40mn CB maybe even 50mn… because who would we replace him with??
I don’t think his ceiling is much higher. Seems to be technically limited. Positioning could be better but less of an issue when playing 3cb rather than 2. Really turning into a fan favourite though.
Ok ok I changed my mind. 60mn at least! We’d need someone like Buongiurno or Calafiori to replace him and thats not realistic for now.
The only way they are doing that is if they recover 2 of the three:
Udogie
Comuzzo
Scalvini
Calafiori would be another option, but I’d like him more for the summer. You have almost an all-Italian Back-Line that has experience and is very young. That would be a coup for the ages to solidify the team and find a Striker if not this winter still, then wait for the summer after the World Cup to see who emerges.

Just a question is the second best Centerback offensively in Serie A after Bastoni. For me he is his runs are fantastic and defensively great just improve the passing but aktions top ten best centerbacks in the league and also can we talk about Matteo Gabbia has he ever had a bad game dont think so mane great leader as well one of our own also
