This weekend, AC Milan are expected to receive another bid from Turkey for Rafael Leao, according to reports in Italy.
A move for Leao has seemed almost guaranteed for large parts of this summer. However, there has been very little progress towards this so far. Indeed, the Portuguese wants to play in a ‘top’ league and so far, his ideal clubs have not come forward.

So, he has shown little interest in the exit options actually on the table. Ruben Amorim is seemingly not against him staying too, with his attitude since returning to training being very open. In other words, what seemed almost definitive is now up in the air…
Another Leao offer
Speaking on SportMediaset’s Italia Uno show, Orazio Accomando stated that Leao remains a big interest for Gala and another move will be made in the next few days, as MilanNews relays.
“The possibility of Rafael Leao staying at AC Milan remains open, but transfer rumours surrounding the Portuguese, who is being heavily pursued by Galatasaray, are continuing.
“Fenerbahçe have withdrawn from the race for the former Lille player, while the Giallorossi are ready to submit a second offer to AC Milan by the end of this week, after their initial offer of €30 million plus €5 million in bonuses was rejected by the Rossoneri.
“Galatasaray’s new offer will be a loan with an obligation to buy set at €40 million.”
Considering that Gerry Cardinale wants an upfront fee, it is likely that this offer is also rejected. However, we’ll have to see if things have changed.

Take the 40 mil and run
Only 50mil if Galata want him and if he want go.
Take less money from Turkish will be emberasing. They take from us player before 2 years for 35mil and he play left back,i forget name,so i never let Leao or some other our player fro small money.
50mil or nothing
“Rumours have stated that even modest offers (starting at €40m) might be enough to open the door to a Leao sale. Given that such evaluations should be made with a CEO, sporting director and head coach, leaking this position is risky. It’s ‘like saying a house is faulty when you have to sell it’.””
Once again it’s proving what a bad decision to keep him and Theo after the water break incident. Not only they changed the team chemistry and direction, but they also everyone a lot of money. Noone is bigger than Milan.
Dude thought that EPL teams would line up to sign him. 2 months later 2 Turkish league teams are the only teams interested in him and they want him on loan. He gave more interviews announcing that he wants to leave Milan than teams that want him
LOL. Yeah, but WAY45 is “one of the best players that has ever played for Milan”. If Cardinale has any brains, he’ll take the obligation to buy. Maybe try to get them to something like 10M paid loan (so at least get something up front), and then obligation to buy for 30-35M. Because if he’s not sold this summer he’s going to have another subpar season playing at AM and then he’ll get sold a la Theo for 15-20M next summer when he’ll have one year remaining on contract and with everyone on these boards crying about how Cardinale should have taken the loan with obligation last summer.
Theo was sold for 25 million.
Let him stay i think he can be really good whit ramos
And I want to have Scarlett Johanssaon as a girlfriend.
this man child has weakened our position coz he couldnt keep his mouth shut . still blabbering on about high wages etc etc when no one wants his poisonous energy.
just get him the f*uck out of the club before he poisons the new era with his attitude and dumbness
At this point, no one will pay a high fee for the laziest player in the world who thinks he is somebody, only to be nobody. Did her think hope teams would have signed him? He is now just not Milan problem, but also a problem for Mendes his agent. Take anything and get him out of milan
He won’t leave.
I believe that the club’s management, led by Cardinale, would accept any offer greater than 40 million because they see that they no longer have many options, but the real problem in all of this is Leao and his insistence on the English league or who knows what else! I don’t know what’s happening with the potential sale of other players because the time for good transfers is slowly but surely passing.
Yes, take the money and run. We have Carmarda and Gimenez to rely on!!
More like we have Pulisic and Nkunku.
Camarda and Gimenez are strikers. Leao isn’t a striker. Leao plays in a position where Milan has the most options from the squad
Thanks captain obvious. Neither Pulisic or Nkunku is a better player than Leao. But I’m sure everyone in here will try to convince themselves that they are.
Leao was Milan’s top scorer last season, and Milan’s most dangerous weapon in attack. But that’s where Carmarda and Gimenez come in???
@Insipiente, it’s like Goncalo Ramos doesn’t exist, lol. Then you speak as if Leao was a 20 goal bomber, Captain Insano. He scored 9 goals, Pulisic scored 8, and Nkunku 7. Leao and Pulisic were tied for 12 goal involvements. Even Rabiot had 10 (6 goals, 4 assists). None of them are no 9s. Leao is not a capable striker or attacking midfielder, he’s a winger, AND WE’RE USING 3-4-2-1. This is what this is about. Hello!
Its not about who you think is a better player captain delusional, but Its about production and fit. Pulisic has been a more productive player than Leao over the last 3 seasons, while Nkunku is as productive as Leao based on minutes played. Both of them are better fit for the system Amorim likes to run than Leao.
BTW Santi Gimenez in his 1st season at Milan, when he was healthy, in less than 5 months had the same production that Leao had in entire season last year.
Nkunku productive?
do u mean some pk goals?
did u count his assist, seccess dribble, cut-in, cross-in, direct-pass or another FW should do?
take the pk goals he’s ain’t better than Fullkrug & he got more minutes.
stop overrated Nkunku to push Leao out,
i’m ok if Leao sold but if his replacement is Nkunku, we’ll be doom
@Woy Take Leao penalties from last season and tell me that we are doomed if he leaves.
Give Nkunku Leao’s minutes and play continuity and he will be more productive than Leao.
It’s pathetic that after the way Leao has behaved and everything he has said over the last couple years that there are still fans that want him to stay.
Are you mad? MC is the department with the most options, we have nine midfielders at this moment.
If you want to do loan with obligation, pay the full valuation. It would be ridiculous for Milan to accept 40m in such a deal. Wouldn’t accept anything less than 50m. It has gotten to the point where it will be a bad situation in the attack if Milan sell Leao just to get rid of him. He is still a top top player when not played totally out of position. Ramos is a quality striker but there is precious little else I have faith in, god forbid if Ramos goes down with injury. If they put 50m up front then Milan should be able to find adequate replacement. But that can be the only situation in which Leao is sold.
“He is still a top top player when not played totally out of position.” We’re using a 3-4-2-1 next season, where will Leao play in position? 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ How are people this dense? Can’t wait for the meltdown when we have to sell him for 15-20M next summer with one year left on contract, after another poor season, and after requesting 10M salary to renew (if that is even a possibility after quite publicly stating his desire to leave). 🙄🔫
I am pretty sure you saw him play in the so call 3-4-2-1 system, he was the shining light in that attack yet you are still thinking about his position in the system, you must be biased and blind folded by hatred for Leao
i say we counter with a straight swap offer with osi
Nonsense. Victor costs much more then Leao right now and we don’t need another striker of that caliber, we won’t play with two strikers like Inter.
The Leao hate has to stop. He is not a striker and can’t play with his back to the goal, and that doesn’t matter. He is BY FAR the best player on the team. The only one who can create his own shot on goal, make defenses nervous and over-react to his activity. The bottom line is THIS MILAN team would be significantly weaker without him, regardless of what you think about his behavior. He is not perfect. Neither are you. If it’s about the money, then sell Pulisic, who is much more marketable and expendable… thus delivering a meaningful injection of capital into the club without a significant loss of quality on the pitch. Formation be damned: Amorim needs to find the best combination with the players he has at his disposal and getting rid of his best attacking player is nonsense. Again, please stop the hate and focus on what’s best for the club ….and don’t tell me about the attitude and his request to leave leave, he just says the things that other players think are afraid to say in public. Is that right? Is that wrong? It doesn’t matter. This Milan needs him.
Oh Vero if only you had a brain!! I said Leao scored 10 goals….but you can’t read can you??
Leao is a winger that was Milan’s top scorer!!! YOU and the clown show are suggesting that he leave!
Or you can continue to post stats of the players that did not do better! Yes, yes, I know you love useless Ricci, Want to keep mr no goals Gimenez and would rather have Carmarda the Serie C striker in the lineup. That’s what the clowns want Vero!
I’d prefer to keep Milan’s most dangerous and most productive attacker. Stay out of the sun Vero your brain is malfunctioning.
