AC Milan failed to bounce back with a win against Udinese last night, instead confirming their crisis with a 1-0 defeat at San Siro. Understandably so, the newspaper didn’t go easy on them this morning.
The last few weeks have been incredibly rough for the Rossoneri and especially Stefano Pioli, who has struggled to get things right tactically. Yesterday was another example of that, as Udinese were the better side at least in attack.
On the front page, Gazzetta dello Sport wrote the following: “Poor Diavolo. Whistles at San Siro, Milan slip to -6. For Pioli it’s a crisis, and on Wednesday they will face Mbappe.”
Tuttosport: “Milan, it’s a true crisis and San Siro whistles. One point in three games and on Wednesday, it’s in or out against PSG.”
Corriere dello Sport: “Darkness for Milan. Pioli collapses against Udinese. Whistles at San Siro.”
