AC Milan won’t be moving forward with their pursuit of Markus Krösche, and his right-hand man Timmo Hardung, as highlighted by the papers this morning.

After hiring Ruben Amorim as the new head coach, it seemed Milan were just details away from securing their new Head of Football figure as well. However, Eintracht put their foot down and Krösche decided to stay as well.
In other words, albeit not back to square one as other candidates are being interviewed too, Milan have certainly received a blow. For Gerry Cardinale and his team, time is running out as the first day of pre-season is coming up.
Before then, a director will be needed. Especially since several players are being linked with exits and will need someone to talk to at the club.
