Gallery: ‘Little Devil’, ‘A draw and Tomori injured’ – Today’s front pages in Italy

AC Milan failed to clinch all three points away at Salernitana last night and had to fight hard to even get a draw. Luka Jovic scored the equaliser in the 90th minute but as you would expect, the papers did not go easy on the Rossoneri this morning.

Milan were the clear favourites heading into the game, with Salernitana sitting at the bottom of the table, but they failed to make use of their status. Several players struggled, which you can read about in our player ratings, and they were lucky to get a draw.

Fikayo Tomori also left the pitch with a hamstring injury and it looked like a rather serious one, which is a huge blow for the Rossoneri.

The headlines

Gazzetta dello Sport: “Little Devil. Inferior Milan in Salerno. Jovic saves a point in the 90th minute. Only a draw in front of Ibra, and Tomori also gets injured. Cardinale not satisfied.”

Corriere dello Sport: “Everyone is in. A 2-2 draw for Milan in Salerno, the Champions League race is on fire. Jovic saves Pioli, Ibra without effect.

Tuttosport: “A draw and another injury: Tomori. Jovic saves Pioli but in Cardinale’s eyes, this isn’t enough.”
