AC Milan secured their third win of the season in as many games last night, beating Roma 2-1 away from home. In short, it’s been a very good start to the season and this was highlighted in today’s papers.
The Rossoneri have managed to find their groove despite many new arrivals and new tactics for the season. Yesterday’s clash was complete domination up until Fikayo Tomori’s red card, but even after that they had good control.
On the front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote the following: “Magic Milan. Maximum points for Pioli and his men so far. Leao with a super goal, the Rossoneri are flying. Lukaku not enough.”
Corriere Dello Sport: “Leao marvellous. Magic from the Portuguese winger in the third win for Milan. Domination from the Rossoneri until the red card of Tomori in the 60th minute.”
Tuttosport: “Milan domination, and now Jovic has arrived too. The Rossoneri have maximum points and for Mourinho, being one man up was not enough.”
