Late last night, as Paolo Maldini exited Casa Milan, he was asked by the reporters on the scene about the renewal. He confirmed the agreement and inevitably, this was the focus of today’s newspapers.
The situation has been rather uncertain over the last few weeks, amid the lack of renewals, but now Maldini and Massara are ready to get back to work. They have to make up for lost time, which will be a tough challenge.
On the front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote the following: “Maldini yes! (But what an effort). The turning point for Milan, the director remains”.
Tuttosport had a similar angle: “Maldini, renewal by force. The director and Massara renew, contracts until 2024”. The same can be said for Corriere Dello Sport: “Everyone to the devil! Maldini and Massara until 2024”.
