The January transfer window is well underway and AC Milan have already secured two players, with the second set to arrive next week. Naturally, this was the main focus of the newspapers in Italy this morning.

Milan have reached an agreement with Hellas Verona for the transfer of Filippo Terracciano. It is a great addition for Stefano Pioli, as the 20-year-old can play on both sides of the defence and even as a midfielder.

After Matteo Gabbia, who was announced on Wednesday, it is the second signing of the January window. Gazzetta dello Sport had several headlines about Milan this morning, while the other big newspapers focused on other clubs.

Let’s take a look at what the pink newspaper had to say about the Rossoneri.

The headlines

📈 “Milan are reinforcing: here is Terracciano. An all-rounder arrives for Pioli (but the keys are Theo and Leao).”

🚀 “Milan’s turbo comeback. Theo is reborn at centre-back, Leao from whistles to goals. With the two, the Rossoneri can accelerate and turn things around.”

👋 “Terracciano arrives. From Verona in a €4.5m deal, five-year contract. The second signing in January. Pioli has a new all-rounder: full-back and midfielder.”
