This morning’s Italian papers have heaped praise on AC Milan for the character shown in their comeback win against Fiorentina on Sunday.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Brahim Diaz and Hakan Calhanoglu all got on the scoresheet for the Rossoneri in a thrilling 3-2 win, with the Swede opening the scoring early on, the Spaniard levelling at 2-2 just before the hour and the Turk scoring a winner inside the final 20 minutes.

La Gazzetta dello Sport remarks the following: “Ibra recharges Milan. They win 3-2 in Florence and go to -6 from Conte. Goal and woodwork: Zlatan won’t let go. Diaz and Calhanoglu on target too.”

They also reference Ibrahimovic’s words: “Now I want the title. Renewal? Maldini pressures me…”

Tuttosport: “Inter, the Scudetto is closer, but Milan won’t give up. Nerazzurri without playing still take another step towards the title, but the Rossoneri conquer Fiorentina and go to -6.”

Corriere dello Sport: “Milan sprint: they win with Ibra in Florence (3-2) and close to -6 from Conte.”
