Gallery: ‘Milan, you are beautiful away’, ‘Champions fury’ – Today’s front pages of Italian papers

Despite going down to ten men with more than 30 minutes to go, including stoppage time, Milan managed to hold onto their two-goal lead and even restored it after Parma had pulled one back.

It was a crucial win for the Rossoneri in the Champions League as they can’t afford to lose any more points to lower-level sides. The draw against Sampdoria made this painfully clear and it was very important to respond in the right way.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic may have been sent off but TV images have revealed that perhaps that wasn’t justified, which you can read more about here. Either way, the three points was all that mattered and they can now feel a bit more comfortable.

On their front page, Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote: “Milan, you are beautiful away!”, referring to the Rossoneri’s very impressive away record. Corriere Dello Sport followed that up with “Milan redemption” and Tuttosport added “Milan, Champions fury”.
