Tijjani Reijnders will soon become a new AC Milan player, with medicals scheduled for next week, and this was obviously the main focus of today’s newspapers after long negotiations between the clubs.
The negotiations were tough but Milan never gave up and eventually reached an agreement at €20m plus bonuses. Reijnders is expected to sign a contract worth €1.6m per year and he will also get a sign-on bonus.
Gazzetta Dello Sport: “Milan… And three new starters. Reijnders a done deal and the midfield has been completely redone.”
Tuttosport: “Pioli, your fifth reinforcement. Reijnders is a done deal. The Dutch midfielder was a top priority for the manager. Gonzalez (Valencia) emerges for the defence.”
