The day has come. In just a few hours Milan will take on their city rivals Inter at San Siro. It will be the biggest Derby Della Madonnina in many years, seeing as both sides are fighting at the top of the league standings.
After losing first place last weekend, Milan will have the chance to leapfrog Inter this afternoon and thus reclaim the top stop. However, it won’t be an easy game for the Rossoneri, though a very exciting one.
In today’s newspaper, the focus has inevitably been put on the big clash. Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote ‘DerbyLove, Milan-Inter is worth the Scudetto’. Corriere Dello Sport went along a similar line, ‘Head-on clash. At the Meazza, it’s a Scudetto derby.’
