After rumours that Adriano Galliani’s return to AC Milan is in jeopardy, a report to the contrary has now arrived.
It was claimed by two sources in the past 24 hours that Galliani’s possible move back to Milan was on hold. One claimed it was due to doubts within the ownership about welcoming ‘Il Condor’ back, while another suggested that there were issues with the sale of Monza.

Reassurances arrive
According to Calciomercato.com, Fininvest and Beckett Layne Ventures have denied talk about alleged problems with the transfer of ownership of Monza. The American have has committed to purchasing the Brianza-based club for €45m, including €15m in debt.
BLV has so far paid €3m to the Berlusconi family holding company, but still has a few days to pay the remaining €27m. The transaction involves an initial transfer of 80% of the shares by the end of this summer, while the remaining 20% will be sold by June 2026.

Beckett Layne Ventures was founded and run by Brandon Berger and Lauren Crampsi , who worked on the restructuring of Chelsea’s commercial department. BLV is a sports investment fund, but also has interests and expertise in the entertainment industry, with over $10bn invested.
Meanwhile, Monza have already begun their own restructuring. They added advisor Mauro Baldissoni (formerly of Roma) and sporting director Nicolas Burdisso (formerly of Fiorentina) to their management team.
CEO Adriano Galliani has remained in place pending the closing of the deal, after which he will be given the green light to return to Milan as a consultant.

He is pure genius, pure negotiator. As long as the Americanism still at Milan dugout, he never wants to come back bro..
“As long as the Americanism still at Milan dugout, he never wants to come back bro..”
So, I assume he told you this over the phone, eh? Could you also tell what is his favorite food? Does he prefer white wine or red? 🤔
So what’s his position? CEO replacing Furlani?
Consultant. That is, another cook in the kitchen which I’m not sure it’s a good idea, unless it is to terminate the disastrous Ibra’s role. If it is to influence Tare and Allegri then it’s a bad idea, even though I like Galliani. Hopefully his role would be to educate the American ownership on what AC Milan is about and what this sport of Association Football is about, and what the Italian environment is about.
If Galliani becomes the consultant instead of Ibra, then it’s a huge upgrade. Ibra’s role at best should be that of a locker room motivator with no decision-making capacity and no contact with the press, so that he doesn’t say silly things that undermine the coach. Ibra was a great footballer. As a manager he’s an incompetent clown.
By the way, Milan’s CEO is Scaroni, not Furlani.
you wrong, Scaroni is president, CEO is Furlani. idiot
Oops you are right, I stand corrected. But there is no need for your personal attack. Everybody makes mistakes without necessarily being an idiot.
Nope. Furlani CEO, Scaroni president. Facts.
Unlike some of you here Galliani is businessmen, he always was he will always be. This is why Berlusconi kept him for so long.
Being a businessmen also means that you do not see someone by nationality, somehow here the conversation has degraded to Italian, American bla bla. I mean comon guys, my Milan is bigger then Italy, sure the heritage is important and we respect that but since when have we stooped down to royalty due to heritage. Milan belongs to all fans, and I am as die hard fan as any Italian, and sure we are different but not by how much we care for the club
Apparently Galliani’s main task would be to improve Milan’s stance with the FIGC, the Lega Serie A, and the refereeing association. For this role, I fully support him. We do need someone better at negotiating with them and who commands way more respect than Scaroni.
We need new ideas not more cooks in the kitchen
No offense Condor
