AC Milan are hoping to shift Luka Jovic this month, but it may not be as simple as once hoped, with Adriano Galliani playing hardball.

The decision to sign Jovic in the summer has only been criticised since. In the weeks after his renewal, Milan were already looking to sell the striker, and things have only gotten worse in the months that followed.

Jovic has failed to play a role in the season due to injuries and with Paulo Fonseca overlooking him for most of his tenure, it is a difficult player to sell.

However, interest has existed. Galatasaray had looked at the possibility of adding him to the squad before the New Year, and since then, Monza have been the strongest option for the striker.

If the Biancorossi are to make a move though, it will not be until late in the window it seems, as revealed by Adriano Galliani, and Milan News relayed his words.

“I’m for a much shorter market, it stays open for a month, but then the operations are done in the last 48 hours. Everyone waits… If the market stayed open for a week everything would be done in a week, instead, it stays open for a month and there is a lot of chatter. For the moment, a lot of chatter.”

  1. He has the most goals for the club of any striker we have, and yet never gets playing time. Meanwhile Morata and Abraham offering almost nothing every game…

    1. Why do you think? Of anyone deserves that kind of chance should it not be our own product Camarda and we simply cash out while we can?

      1. Then they shouldn’t have renewed Jovic to begin with and given him the impression that he had a future with us giving him the no.9 as they basically has held him in contempt in how he has been mistreated. l have no issues with us trying to further develope and bet our money on Camarda though but up until now then the Serb has nevertheless proven to offer a lot more guarantees in front of goal and that is regardless of the Italians immense potential.

      2. You can’t rely on a teenager to be an effective backup. You’re just stunting his growth. Camarda needs to play and play consistently, not get piecemeal minutes here and there.
