Journalist claims Maldini has enquired about Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan director Paolo Maldini has made an enquiry with the agent of Gareth Bale to understand his situation, according to a report.

According to journalist Rudy Galetti, in recent days there was an enquiry lodged by Maldini with Bale’s entourage to understand the Welshman’s requests from a salary point of view and his intentions beyond the summer.

The 32-year-old’s contract with Real Madrid expires at the end of the season and after a public fallout between the parties it seems almost impossible for him to renew.

He has been essentially frozen out by Los Blancos but showed what he can do during Wales’ recently 2-1 win against Austria in World Cup qualifying, where he scored a magnificent brace.

Bale joined Real Madrid from Spurs and despite scoring some crucial goals for them in big finals, it seems his time there has come to an end. He has 106 goals and 67 assists for them in 256 assists across all competitions.

      1. Not the point, even without a transfer fee his wages are straight from loony-land. He’ll go to China or the Middle East.

  1. Yep, I was always waiting for this transfer to hit our news site and it finally here 🤣🤣🤣. We must be linked with everyone transferable and end up with some kid who can’t start for the senior team

    1. Well i agree and i deffently prefer sempre milan but nevertheless it would be highly appreciated if this site was a bit more critical in regard of some of the more unlikely moves we are specualted to be interested in because i dont think its unreasonable to say that a fair share of sempre milans readers eats up the media tales like it is facts when 99% of it all is nothing but mere specualtions.

By the way i agree with your reply on

      1. Yeah, i agree with you too. Maybe that’s why Sempre milan doing it. Same as clickbait, people loves to read some names or any info about milan. Even if we know its not gonna happen but we still read it. Maybe we are too obsessed Lol

        1. Well its deffently an obsession and propably for all of us 😀 but still some of the corner stones of journalismn is also to question sources etc. and actually aspire to find the truth, id even argue that its an obligation in all fields of journalismn. Im not saying sempremilan isnt doint that in any of their artciles which they clearly do as they posts great articles on tactics etc but in regard of transfer hype in the media it would at least suit them to be a bit more critical in my view.
In the end who knows if he joins us but everything indicates the opposite unless the player actually would accept getting paid something like a quarter or more of his current 36 mil euros a year salary.

          1. I get that vero rossonero, but nevertheless it would still be logical to question those stories anyways thats just my view. Anyways if i didnt like the site i wouldnt be frequenting it on a daily basis as i do.

        1. I just read the articles and sometimes the comments but its been a long time since i posted over there as i previously had some posting issues there, i wonder if they banned me but i wouldnt have the slightest idea why that would be but cant say i care much as im fine with sempre milans comment section.

  2. according goal.com , Bale get 35m/y @RM the highest in LaLiga, do you think he’ll accept 1/10 salary @Milan, nice joke btw
