Following the 1-0 win against Sassuolo last night, Gennaro Gattuso spoke to Sky Italia about the team’s performance, as well as their position in the standings.
On the situation: “The results are positive but we have to do better on a technical level. I don’t want to hear about fatigue, I want to understand why we can’t be better. We struggled against an organized opponent. We did well in the defensive phase more needs to be done when we have the ball.”
On the third place: “Now we need to do well, in the last 10-15 we’re not going through a positive moment. We have to play twelve more league finals, I don’t want anyone to get overexcited.”
On the defence: “They are good guys, apart from Boga’s shot we didn’t concede many chances, but we can always do better.”
On Calabria: “Calabria has grown a lot, he has a great desire. Conti has always done well when he’s played. Calabria has to continue like this, feel comfortable and work as he is.”
On creating an Instagram account if Milan reach UCL: “I don’t think so! They’re already insulting me without social media. As far as I am concerned, the only buttons on the phone are green to answer and red to hang up.”
