CorSport: Gazidis in line to receive bonus from Milan’s sale due to clause in contract

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis would be in line to receive a proceed if the club were to be sold by Elliott Management, according to a report.

Today’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it) reports that with the sale of Milan to Investcorp the name of Ivan Gazidis could leave the current management nomenclature given his ties to Elliott and the possible willingness of the Bahrain-based fund to bring in a chief executive they know better.

The Roman newspaper writes that there is an interest part of Gazidis’ contract at Milan which entitles him to a bonus linked to the profit margin that Elliott will obtain from the sale of Milan to a new buyer, in this case Investcorp.

Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara meanwhile are highly appreciated by Investcorp and should remain, while there is also a good chance that Geoffrey Moncada should also stay at the club and will keep his work going.
