By Isak Möller -

With the summer coming up, Milan will have to deal with more than a few renewals. In addition to Gigio Donnarumma, a decision will have to be made on the future of Jack Bonaventura and Simon Kjaer.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), though, it shouldn’t be too much to worry about with Ivan Gazidis in charge. The CEO’s strategy is clear when it comes to thirty-year-olds like Bonaventura and Kjaer.

In fact, he would like to free them and focus on young players instead. per the report. For Zvone Boban and Paolo Maldini, it’s a very tough situation to act within and a confrontation is expected with Gazidis soon to find common ground.

In many ways, the Bonaventura departure has been coming, especially since he hasn’t played much. Kjaer, on the other hand, has gained the trust of the manager by performing well on the pitch. Therefore, it’s a tough decision to make.
