AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri has settled on the team that he will field against Hellas Verona this afternoon, it is claimed.
Against Udinese last Saturday, Allegri decided it was time to try out a new system. He went with a 4-3-3 to try and unlock the attack, but instead what happened is the defence was blown wide open as the away side won 3-0 at San Siro.

It has been a complicated recent period for the Rossoneri, who have lost four of their last seven and did not score in those defeats. However, Napoli and Como losing plus Roma drawing means that they can take a big step towards securing a top four spot in Verona today.
Hellas Verona vs. AC Milan: Predicted starting XIs
Allegri is enjoying something that has been very rare this season: he has no injuries to contend with. Matteo Gabbia became the last out of the treatment room, having fully recovered after surgery on a hernia.
The coach is expected to make changes in each department, reverting to the 3-5-2. Fikayo Tomori and Gabbia are expected to start again, with Zachary Athekame keeping his spot but as a wing-back. Strahinja Pavlovic should remain at LCB, and Davide Bartesaghi at wing-back.
Youssouf Fofana will recover a spot in the starting midfield trio alongside Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot, La Gazzetta dello Sport claim. Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic are in far from good form, with the Portuguese even getting jeered off during the defeat last weekend, but should start together.
Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Athekame, Fofana, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Leao, Pulisic.
Predicted Verona XI (3-5-2): Montipò; Nelsson, Edmundsson, Frese; Oyegoke, Akpa Akpro, Gagliardini, Bernede, Belghali; Sarr, Orban.
