GdS: AC Milan’s mercato gets complicated; several blows, Giampaolo waits

AC Milan are very active on the market, but for now, waiting to close the Bennacer deal with Empoli, only two deals have been successful, namely Krunic and Theo Hernandez.

Of course, there is still time left in this transfer window, but the road is now uphill because there are still so many things to do, and in the last period several targets have faded. For this reason, Maldini, Boban and Massara will not fly to the USA with the Milan team, but will remain in Italy to continue on the market.

As highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport this morning, several players that Milan have pursued in recent weeks have decided to go elsewhere. Among these, there is Torreira, who chose to stay at Arsenal, Sensi, who went to Inter, and Ozan Kabak, who preferred to join Schalke.

Now, it seems that the Rossoneri will miss out on Veretout as well, with the Frenchman being only one step away from Roma. Meanwhile, Giampaolo continues to work at Milanello, waiting eagerly for more reinforcements, as he needs a midfielder and a defender.

However, the mercato is struggling to take off for Milan, especially because there have been no significant sales to fund an important transfer campaign. We all knew that this summer would be tough for the management, but perhaps not this complicated.
