GdS: AC Milan’s probable XI for Sassuolo clash – Pioli follows the trend

By Isak Möller -

Tomorrow afternoon, AC Milan will host Sassuolo at the San Siro, in what will be the 16th game of Serie A this season. After two consecutive wins, the Rossoneri have the chance to do something they haven’t done before this campaign.

In fact, with another three points in the bag, they would secure their third consecutive win. As mentioned, they have only managed to get to two this season (on two occasions). Therefore, Pioli will be playing it safe.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanEye on Twitter), the manager won’t make any changes to the starting eleven. The last three performances have been very good, so you can understand the boss’ intention.

In other words, it’s up to the trusted players to do the job tomorrow. Hopefully, Hernandez can continue his forward runs on the left flank, although he needs to defend better. Furthermore, Piatek will be looking to get on the scoresheet once again.

Likely AC Milan XI (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Conti, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer, Bonaventura; Suso, Piatek, Calhanoglu.
