GdS: Agreement from both parties on future of Bonaventura; key meeting scheduled

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have scheduled a meeting with Mino Raiola for January to discuss the renewal of Giacomo Bonaventura, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport recently reported that the Rossoneri made it clear to Raiola that they would like to keep Bonaventura, but that the agent had offered him to Roma and Napoli in case of failure to find an agreement.

Bonaventura’s contract expires on 30 June next year and therefore his renewal is something that will have to be discussed soon, especially after returning to top form following his knee injury.

According to Friday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it –  both parties want to extend the 30-year-old’s deal, but an agreement on the duration of the contract and the salary must still be found.

Given his age, Milan are not interested in offering a long-term deal, however this can be discussed in January when Raiola will once again meet with the club.
