GdS: All Milan’s attention on Faivre – Brest signed to giving in as Rossoneri have key ally

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are pushing ahead in their attempts to sign Romain Faivre from Brest with the Ligue 1 club resigned to losing him, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes that the 23-year-old is wanted by the management because of his ability but also his versatility, given he can play both as an attacking midfielder and as a winger.

Milan’s attention is all on Faivre, but Brest asks for €15m cash to sell but the Rossoneri are only willing to stump of €10m, to which bonuses related to personal and team performance may be added.

A meeting point could be found halfway, but the Ligue 1 club now seem resigned to giving in because Milan have a precious ally in the negotiations: Faivre himself. The former Monaco man is pushing to move to Italy. Yesterday, after being included in the squad, the midfielder did not join his team-mates leaving for Strasbourg which is a clear signal his exit could be close.

  1. That’s good but I hope Milan push for him to real and make a final effort if they have to, not like with Vlasic who did everything in his power to let his club know he wanted a Milan move but nothing happened in the end.
