GdS: Amorim will land in Milan on Monday – his schedule for the week

Ruben Amorim will arrive in Milan tomorrow to properly begin his adventure as the new head coach of AC Milan. 

Amorim was announced as the new gaffer nearly three weeks ago now, but he has been working remotely since. Despite this, he has been very present, holding talks with current players, potential signings, and outlining his ideal targets to the management.

That said, the feeling is that his adventure will begin for real once he sets foot at Milanello. Getting to know his new home is very important, especially since the start of the pre-season is scheduled for July 13, which is coming up fast.

The plan for next week

According to Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below), Amorim will land at Linate Airport in the early afternoon next week. In the evening, he will head to Casa Milan to speak with some of his new colleagues, getting to know the HQ as well.

Then, on Tuesday, he will head to Milanello for the first time. The plan is to hold a press conference next week too, so that it has been done before the first day of pre-season (again, July 13). All of the above also means that we finally should have some official pictures of Amorim in red and black.
