AC Milan still have Red Bull Salzburg star Dominik Szoboszlai on their wish list ahead of the January window and seem to have a preferential lane too.
The Athletic reporter David Ornstein (via RouteOneFootball) claimed earlier this week that Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are the team who are currently leading the chase to land the 20-year-old Hungarian.
However, he added that they are not the only side interested as LaLiga giants Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are also keen, as are Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham as well as Milan.
According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Hakan Calhanoglu is currently not close to reaching an agreement over a renewal and therefore he could leave in the summer on a free transfer.
Milan do not want to be caught unprepared if he does go, and for that reason dialogue with the entourage of Szoboszlai is ongoing. The 20-year-old has many admirers around Europe, but seems to favour a move to join Milan.
